THINKING USING ICT

By using ICT software, it can help you to produce mind maps and brainstorms. Software such as Inspiration, Quintura and Reason!Able are all available through Common (which can be found on your Desktop or in the Start Menu).

Inspiration

Helps you to make mind maps.

1. On your Desktop open the folder that says Common.

2. Double Click on Inspiration

3. Inspiration will now load.

 

Quintura

Helps you to search for information by making a mind map for you and breaking your search down.

1. On your Desktop open the folder that says Common.

2. Double Click on Quintura.

3. If the little microscope is coloured Quintura will load.

4. If the little microscope is not coloured, double click Tools (on the Desktop) and click on 'Install Quintura"

5. Quintura will now load.

 

Reason!Able

Helps you to sort out your ideas into the positive and negative aspects of an argument/premise. It is extremely good for debaters and if you want to think critically about an issue.

1. On your Desktop open the folder that says Common.

2. Double Click on Reason!Able

3. Reason!Able will now load.
